S.V.O.C are a solo project from Costa Rica that plays a very raw form of black metal and this is a review of his 2020 demo which was released by Entocomophobic Records.
A very raw sound with tremolo picking starts off the demo while the vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams. All of the drum beats re programmed along with all of the tracks also being very short in length and when the music speeds up blast beats can be heard and the riffs also add in a brief use of melody as well as the music also adding in a decent amount of 90's influences, the closing track is also an instrumental.
S.V.O.C plays a style of black metal that is very raw and lo-fi sounding. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover darkness themes.
In my opinion S.V.O.C are a very great sounding raw black metal solo project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this demo. RECOMMENDED TRACK ''II''. 8 out of 10.
