Blasphemous Noise Torment are a band Italy that has been featured before in this zine and plays a raw mixture of war, black and death metal and this is a review of their 2015 album "Reversed Cosmos" which was re-issued on cassette in 2016 by WOHRT Records.
A very heavy and dark death metal influenced sound starts off the album along with some morbid sounding melodies and the music is very heavily rooted in the 90's and when the music speeds up blast beats and black metal screams and growls are added into the music and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts.
All of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them and when the music speeds up a great amount of war metal elements can be heard and some of the tracks are very long and epic in length and the fast tremolo picking gives the music more of a raw black metal feeling and when solos and leads are added into the songs they are very dark and melodic and the whole album also remains true to a very heavy and raw musical direction from beginning to ending of the recording.
Blasphemous Noise Torment creates another recording that takes the darkest and rawest elements of the black, war and death metal genres of the 90's and mixes them together to create a very heavy yet old school sounding album, the production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover war, ariosophy, violence and might.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Blasphemous Noise Torment and if you are a fan of black, war and death metal, you should check out this cassette. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Unleash The Horde" "Chaos Ouroboros" and "Cyclic Reversion". 8 out of 10.
