Stillborn are a band from Poland that has been featured before in this zine and plays a mixture of black and death metal with elements of war and thrash metal and this is a review of their 2015 album "Testimonio de Bautismo" which was released by Godz Of War Productions.
A very heavy and brutal death metal sound starts off the album along with all of the musical instruments sounding very powerful and when the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can be heard along with a great mixture of black metal screams and death metal growls as well as a touch of war metal.
Throughout the recording there is a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while some riffs are also heavily influenced by thrash and also add morbid sounding melodies into certain sections of the recording and all of the songs stick to a very heavy and brutal style from beginning to ending of the album and they also bring in a cover of Sodom's "Burst Command Till War" and they close the album with an instrumental track.
Stillborn creates another recording that takes the heaviest elements of war, black, death and thrash metal and mixes them together to create a very raw and brutal sounding album, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics are written in Polish and cover Satanism, Anti Christianity and Apotheosis of Death themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding album from Stillborn and if you are a fan of black and death metal, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Ancykryst" "Odezwa" "Modlitwa Poganina" and "Burst Command Till War". 8 out of 10.
