Nihil Kaos are a band from Turkey that plays a very raw and satanic form of black metal and this is a review of their 2015 album "Noxkult" which was released by Deathknell Productions.
Dark sounding synths start off the album before going into a very fast and raw black metal direction that uses a great amount of blast beats and melodic guitar leads and high pitched grim black metal screams and melodies are added into the music and the music brings back the 90's ultra fast style of the genre.
You can hurt a bit of the Swedish style in the bands musical style and the solos and leads are also very dark and melodic and when the vocals get deep they bring in a touch of death metal and there is also a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts present throughout the recording and some of the riffs also bring in a touch of thrash and on one track the vocals get semi melodic while also keeping a true grim style.
Nihil Kaos plays a style of black metal that is very fast, raw and melodic in the 90's Swedish style, the production sounds very dark, raw and heavy while the lyrics cover Satanism and Darkness themes.
In my opinion Nihil Kaos are a very great sounding fast, raw and melodic satanic black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Spawn Of Devastating Chaos" "Dreadful Perdition" and "Katharsis In Ashes". 8 out of 10.
