Persecutory Interview

1.For those that have never heard of you of before, can you tell us a little bit about the band?

Tyrannic Profanator: Blasphemous hails! This is T.Profanator from the bastards. Persecutory emerged from the ashes of Sarinvomit (me and the drummer) and we joined the forces with the guitarist Infectious Torment so our common aim was to play sick, perverted and satanic black fucking metal with some thrash metal hints. We worship the death and endless chaos and destroying the humanity & universe and Persecutory focused on this totally. Our poisonous noise is an significant way for us to express it. Band formed one year ago and we recorded debut EP in the summer of 2015, soon you'll hear more unholy craziness, later live shows will increase in Turkey and other countries. We have played live one time yet.

2.How would you describe the musical sound that is presented on the recording?

Tyrannic Profanator: Black / thrash metal. People can define the influences of the sounds such as European black metal, and German thrash metal and some bestial black metal elements, don't know at all. The point we want to go as the band can create our own original sound as possible.

3.What are some of the lyrical topics and subjects the band explores with the music?

Tyrannic Profanator: Perversion, death, chaos, anti-religionism and satanism. In fact, we focused on intolerance against all the shitty believers but it's the first step of satanism in the result. So the universal chaos, parasitism called human life, being a slavery in an infinite void and rebellion against all the things are some of the constituting parts. We're humiliated forms, and we need to get rid of this error cycle. However we just follow the path of heresy in this process. Humanity is a bug, universe is a bug and all of these particles must be buried into the eternal darkness! Perhaps we are going to die without knowing many things and our rebelliance tells it, we're in an infinity of outgoing layers, this must end. Our lyrics are based on the subjects like these.

4.What is the meaning and inspiration behind the name 'Persecutory'?

Tyrannic Profanator: Persecutory includes the meanings of these words such as "evil", "tyranny", "despotism". There's not any band named "Persecutory" in metal scene, and this was also enough for us.

5.What are some of the best shows that the band has played so far and also how would you describe your stage performance?

Tyrannic Profanator: Yet once more we played, it was 4 months ago. Instead of playing frankly, right now we are focused on doing new and better products. In fact it was the first standard show of a metal band, there were about 100 people to watch and they went crazy enough for the first time they listened the tracks as live. We need to play more in the studio together and we need to find a permanent bass player. Because the bass player was the session in the first live show. We have not been leaving the studio every week until the record and first show, and we took a break because of i am focused on my another band (Sarinvomit), we will start the new Persecutory tracks soon.

6.Do you have any touring or show plans for the future?

Tyrannic Profanator: After we recorded 7-track of debut full-length in the end of 2016 we will speed up for the shows of course. Honestly we played in Istanbul one time and other shows can start in Europe if we can set.

7.The ep is coming out on 'Hell's Hammer', can you tell you a little bit about this label?

Tyrannic Profanator: Hell's Hammer Music is a new label under UKEM Records (United Kingdom), and i've heard many times UKEM Records that has released the products of extreme metal bands for years, so when we recorded the debut EP, they were one of the labels i wanted to contact. And Chris replied us to release the debut EP as digipak CD format through his new label Hell's Hammer Music. However EP will be released as tape through Polish label Kampf Records, but there's more time for tape.

8.On a worldwide level how has the feedback been to your music by fans of underground metal?

Tyrannic Profanator: I sure there is not many people who knows Persecutory now, we mention about one year band. It will take time as it should be. Releasing new records and doing more shows shall provide this. But the only real audience must get our sick music. We got some positive reviews of course, and people sometimes sent mail about they liked our music too much and some of them ask where they can get their copies. After the 7-track new full-length i can discuss that as detailed.

9.Where do you see the band heading into musically during the future?

Tyrannic Profanator: Honestly i'm not one who likes a lot of touring, but i want to play in some important extreme metal festivals and keep going as producing new releases every year in black metal scene. We have to be one of the solid and unique black-thrash bands of the time, otherwise there's no exit. Being a concept band and it's important to reflect all our morbid ideas to our music and lyrics. If true black metal fans have some trouble and disease when they are listening to us then we're on the right way.

10.What are some of the bands or musical styles that have had an influence on your music and also what are you listening to nowadays?

Tyrannic Profanator: Motörhead, Venom, Sodom, Mayhem, Possessed, Bathory, Dark Angel, Onslaught, Sarcofago, Beherit, Bestial Mockery, Black Witchery, Urgehal, Katharsis, Tsjuder, Antaeus, Impaled Nazarene, Nifelheim, Toxic Holocaust and many others. Nowadays i'm listening the new releases such as Revenge "Behold.Total.Rejection", Kvltist "Catechesis", Mgla "Exercises in futility", Adversarial "Death, Endless Nothing and the Black Knife of Nihilism", Temple Of Baal "Mysterium", Division Speed "s/t", Embrace Of Thorns "Darkness Impenetrable". I bought some of these releases. Apart from these, nowadays i mostly listen Sodom, Dark Angel, Black Witchery, Onslaught, Tank, Acid, Morbid Angel, Antaeus, Tsjuder, Zerstörer, Abhorer, Deathspell Omega, Pseudogod, Armagedda, Swallowed, Inferno, Tortorum, Thunderbolt and the others i can not remember now.

11.How would you describe your views on Satanism?

Tyrannic Profanator: First it should not be considered as a tangible asset, if you worship it as an asset, it won't be different from religion. The extinction of all fucking religions is just the first aim. We all live in an infinite loop and we do not know where we're going, our beginning and end is ambiguous, perhaps there is a strong pent-up energy and vigor. Our only salvation may be absolute chaos of eternal sovereignty. Because the human is parasite and we do not know if we are the products of how a project or not, can we understand the satanism with this low intelligence in full form? Who knows? We have to go beyond the mind, and extinction shall start forever. The ultimate aim is the destruction of the entire universe for me now, but this is even a small target when you think the eternity. An utopia of eternity outside of time and space exists, and i still think we could not still go beyond the material. Think about the microscopic organisms that you cannot see with naked eyes, perhaps we are microscopic alives for others. Why do we have to comply with it and accept it? Now satanism rises at the point where this rebellion began.

12.Before we wrap up this interview, do you have any final words or thoughts?

Tyrannic Profanator: Thank you for the interview, you'll hear new malignant sounds of Persecutory in the end of 2016.
