Beastgod Interview

1.For those that have never heard of you before, can you tell us a little bit about the band?

Beastgod was form in late 2022 by Harbinger of 7 Genocidal Curses shouted at Christ (vocals), Butcher of 458 Swiss Guards (guitar) and Guerilla Warrior and Total Martial Domination (drums) in Stockholm, Sweden. We thought it was time for black metal skinheads to rise, recrucify the Nazarene whoreson and piss in the face of his meek followers, and that's why Beastgod was born. The demo was recorded as a 3-piece, but more or less directly after we added two extra members, Undefeated Lord Slayer, Thrice Vanquisher over Heavens (guitar) and Sadistic Commando of Unfathomable Perversion and Satanic Terror (bass), to form the current lineup.

2.So far you have released a demo, can you tell us a little bit more about the musical style that you went for on the recording?

We worship at the altar of the 3 Bs : Blasphemy, Beherit, Black Witchery. That's the sound we went for on the demo. Straight to the point bestial war metal, no more no less.

3.A lot of your lyrics cover satanic and anti Christianity themes, can you tell us a little bit more about your interest in the dark arts?

The lyrics aim to be as blasphemous as possible. To us, the dark arts are nothing but a mean to achieve our ultimate goal : the final hanging of Jehova and the triumph of the Beastgod.

4.What is the meaning and inspiration behind the name 'Beastgod'?

The Beastgod is the defiler of all things abrahamic, champion of the Black Crusade and general of satanic skinheads hordes. We serve him and spread his curses through our invocations.

5.Can you tell us a little bit more about the artwork that is presented on the demo cover?

The demo artwork represents the Beastgod in the form of the Black Goat Victorious, subjugator of Yahweh.

6.Has the band done any live shows or open to the idea?

The band hasn't played live so far, but we intend on performing live desecrations in the future.

7.So far very little is known about the band, do you prefer to keep a lower profile?

Who we personally are has close to no importance, the focus is on the band's message : obliterate Christ and his twelve pedophiles.

8.Currently you are unsigned, are you looking for a label or have received any interest?

The demo will be released on tape by a label that soon shall be revealed.

9.On a worldwide level how has the reaction been to your music by fans of war metal?

Hard to say, but pretty good I guess? We're satisfied with how it was received.

10.When can we expect a full length and also where do you see the band heading into musically during the future

We have started to work on new songs, the plan is to write enough for a full length, but we'll see where we land. Hopefully we have more goatfucking invocations to vomit at the world soon, whatever format they appear on. The next released will be a continuation of the demo soundwise, but after that we'll probably go in a more extreme direction.

11.What are some of the bands or musical styles that have had an influence on your music and also what are you listening to nowadays?

Our influences are mainly the original bestial black metal bands that were named earlier in the interview. Add the Cogumelo black/death masters to that and bands such as Goatlord or Profanatica and you have our main influences. We actually listen to a wide range of music, spanning from Blasphemy to Conqueror.

12.Before we wrap up this interview, do you have any final words or thoughts?

Obey the Black Ram. Push-pitters will be executed.
