Czarna Magia are a solo project from Poland that plays a very misanthropic and occult form of black metal and this is a review of his 2022 album "Merciless Trap of Civilization" which was released by the End of Times Records.
Demonic growls start off the album before evolving into grim yet angry sounding black metal screams while all of the musical instruments on the recording also have a very powerful sound to them. When guitar solos and leads are utilized they are done in a very dark yet melodic style and melodies are also added into some of the guitar riffing.
When the music speeds up a decent amount of blast beats can also be heard while a couple of the tracks are also very long and epic in length. Throughout the recording you can also hear a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with a lot of the music also showing its roots in the 90's era as well as the tremolo picking also giving the songs more of a raw feeling when they are utilized.
Czarna Magia plays a style of occult black metal that is very misanthropic and old school sounding. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Occultism, Chaos and Misanthropy themes.
In my opinion Czarnia Magia are a very great sounding misanthropic occult black metal solo project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album.
