RTNGJHVH are a solo project from Kentucky that plays a bestial mixture of war, black and death metal and this is a review of his 2020 demo "Rotting Jehovah" which was released by Blasfemas Records.
Evil sounding melodies start off the demo along with some bestial growls a few seconds later while the faster sections of the songs also add in a great amount of blast beats and war metal elements. During the faster sections of the songs a lot of tremolo picking can be heard which also gives the songs more of a raw feeling.
Black metal screams can also be heard at times while the songs also add in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts. When guitar leads are utilized briefly they are also done in a very raw yet chaotic style along with the music also being very heavily rooted in the 90's era and the whole demo also sticks to a heavier musical direction.
RTNGJHVH plays a musical style that takes war, bestial black and death metal and mixes them together to create a sound of his own. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Satanism, Occultism, Sumerian, Desecration, Blasphemy and Anti Christianity themes.
In my opinion RTNGJHVH is a very great sounding bestial mixture of war, black and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this solo project. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Storms Of Blood" Necromantic Perversion" and "Pazuzu". 8 out of 10.
