Infernal Curse are a band from Argentina that plays a bestial mixture of war, black and death metal and this is a review of their 2023 album "Revelation Beyond Insanity" which will be released in June by Iron Bonehead Productions.
A keyboard orientated intro starts off the album and also brings in the atmosphere of a classic horror film before going into a very fast, raw and brutal war metal direction which also utilizes a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats. Vocals are mostly bestial growls and the music also shows some influence of the old school South American style.
All of the musical instruments on the recording also have a very powerful sound to them while the songs also add in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts. When guitar solos and leads are utilized they are also done in a very chaotic style along with the riffs also adding in a small amount of melody at times, all of the musical instruments on the recording also have a very powerful sound to them and one song also adds in a brief use of choirs and bells but keeping the focus on a heavier direction.
Infernal Curse plays a style style that take s war and bestial black/death metal and mixes it with some of the mid 80's South American style to create a sound of their own. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover demons, temptation, entities and evil themes.
In my opinion Infernal Curse are a very great sounding mixture of war and bestial black/death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUD E "Black mass Shepherd" and "Aeon Of Extinction". 8 out of 10.
