1.Can you give us an update on what is going on with the band these days?
War Hails! Eternal Armageddon had a demo out recently titled ‘Black Thrash Bastards’. We came back live after years at Metal Barbarism II. Right now we are set to hit the studio for the full length.
2.Recently you have released a new demo, how would you describe the musical sound that is presented on the recording and also how does it differ from the ep, you had released in 2011?
Well, the demo, ‘Black Thrash Bastards’ was recorded live in a rehearsal studio. As it’s demo and we tried to capture a raw and live chaos in it. Back in 2011 Eternal Armageddon had an EP out titled ‘Her Forlorn Monsoon’. Back in that time Eternal Armageddon was used to play Melodic Black Metal. All the tracks were recorded at Studio Niflheim and the sound was a bit polished or should I say cleaner than the current sound.
3.The band has been around since 2009 and so far has only released an ep and a demo, can you tell us a little bit more about the gap between releases?
The band was on hold for a year or more after the release of our debut EP. Then again it got reformed with a new three men lineup by the mid of 2014. That was quite a long pause. But now we are marching furious than ever and by this year we are planning to come up with a full length album.
4.What are some of the lyrical topics and subjects the band explores with the newer music?
Blasphemy! War! Hatred!

5.What is the meaning and inspiration behind the name 'Eternal Armageddon'?
There was no inspiration, Ha Ha! We were just thinking off some name and suits or can express our sound in a better way and we found Armageddon! Then again, we thought, hey! Why not make it Eternal?!! We are not gonna stop anyway from producing this devastation chaos, right? Ha Ha! That’s how Eternal Armageddon came up!
6.What are some of the best shows that the band has played over the years and also how would you describe your stage performance?
Well, first gig was definitely a memorable one. Again, the recent one (Metal Barbarism II organized by Primitive Invocation) that we have performed also carries some great value. It was more likely a comeback gig anyway. Long after we smelled the stage and exhaled the fire. About the stage performance, we just try to be us. We don’t feel like we need any imitation or what. We ride, we destroy!
7.Do you have any touring or show plans for the future?
Yeah! In future, probably after the next studio album gets released, we might go for one~
8.I have read that one of the band members also runs a black metal webzine, is that still going on these days?
Of course! Asmodeus, the only existing original member and the founder of the band runs the Venustus Diabolicus Zine along with his war brothers Zoheb, Somber and Safwan. Yes, contributors from other parts of the world has also joined with us. And, Venustas Diabolicus is not actually a webzine, it is a community/cult that exists to support black metal. Yet, webzine is the major initiative of VD.
9.On the demo you did a cover of Sodom's "Blasphemer", what was the decision behind doing your own version of this legendary song?
Sodom is one of our biggest influences. And that song! Better say that album, ‘In the Signs of Evil’ is gem in the history of Metal. And We thought it’s worth giving them a tribute.
10.The demo was self released but the band did work with a couple of labels on the previous release, are you open to working with another record label again in the future or do you prefer the DIY approach a lot there?
Well, soon the demo will be released worldwide through a label. And yes, we are always open to work with new labels.
11.On a worldwide level how has the feedback been to your newer music by fans of black and thrash metal?
Till now we are receiving very good responses. We salute all the warriors supporting us!
12.Are any of the band members currently involved with any other bands or musical projects these days?
Sarcophagous plays guitar in Burial Dust and Blasphemouranter is playing in Nafarmaan as the live drummer.
13.When can we expect a full length album and also where do you see the band heading into musically during the future?
Like I said, probably by this year! And well, in case of art, we do not think there could have any set destination. It’s not us who drive it, rather it’s art that drive us. Let’s see where it takes us!
14.What are some of the bands or musical styles that have had an influence on your newer music and also what are you listening to nowadays?
That’s a tough one to answer! Well, to mention some influences some names from the early Black Metal era can be mentioned, Venom, Sodom- moving on to Norwegian scene, Immortal, Emperor- in case of Sweden, Dissection, Marduk… many more you know. And yes! IRON MAIDEN! The biggest personal and common influence for all of us!
About listening, well, we listen through a hell lot of new acts and of course, the old ones. Can’t make any specification here.
15.How would you describe your views on Satanism and Occultism?
Satanism is a quintessential part of black metal. Black metal is closely associated with Satan. Probably the modern era black metal bands are getting into much more deeper spiritual and occult elements. It is good to see it actually. But, it bothers me when bands tend to switch occult topics that are somehow not related to black metal.
I am neither an occultist nor a spiritual guy. My knowledge is more or less limited to the books and in terms of ritualistic or practical side, my experience is probably empty. Yet, I support the bands that are actually into these spiritual and occult aspects from their soul. When bands are reflecting their practices or beliefs through the music, I really admire it.
