Ignis Invocatio is a band of black metal who is formed by just 2 members in the year of 2017 with the hungry to do black metal in the old style and is doing a music for the Devil and his flame.
2.Last year you had released an ep, can you tell us a little bit more about the musical style you went for on the recording?
The musical style that we choose for this ep is a classic sound of Black Metal who is trying to do his music with the old style but with a sound very property for Ignis Invocatio.
3.Your lyrics cover Witchcraft, Devil Worship and Occultism, can you tell us a little bit more about your interest in the dark arts?
Indeed! the interest for us into the dark arts is something who really like to us and the interest for this darkness remotes from our entire life and has a real meaning musically and personally. The Black Flame of Lucifer and The Flame of Qayin is who will guide us in the entire time to do this dark music.
4.Originally the band was called 'Black Serpent', what was the cause of the name change and also the meaning and inspiration behind the name 'Ignis invocatio'?That is a fun fact because the decision of change the name of "Black Serpent" was because another band who have the same name claim be the only and originally be the "True" "Black Serpent", so they sent us a message complaining about plagiarism of the name of the band , in the first place we had never heard of that band before and never believed that someone would complain about having the same name even being from different countries and doing different kind of music. We chose that name in the first place because it had a real meaning for us but we decided not to do a drama and whine for just a band name , so we decided to change the name to "Ignis Invocatio" which has the same meaning for us , who represents the invocation of the black flame.
5.Can you tell us a little bit more about the artwork that is presented on the ep cover?
The artwork of the ep cover is the representation of the rituals who we make to the flame of the serpent and Qayin.
6.Currently there are only 2 members in the band, are you open to expanding your line up or do you prefer to remain a duo?
We are opened to expand our band to more members, with the only condition of find the right people who really like this music.
7.Has the band done any live shows or would be open to doing them in the future?
We have not done any live show yet, for the moment we want to be as a studio band and seeing the evolution of the band, of course we would like to represent our music live in the future.
8.The physical copies of the ep are coming out on 'Black Funeral Productions', how did you get in contact with this label?
Well, basically it was because i'm the vocalist of another band with the name "Sanginem Daemonus" and that label was the one that produced our EP too. So i told them about my "Ignis Invocatio"project and they liked too.
9.On a worldwide level how has the reaction been to your music by fans of black metal?
When we announced our EP through bandcamp we had a very good acceptance from different countries, which thank the support to underground bands like us.
10.When can we expect a full length and also where do you see the band heading into musically during the future?
We are working to make a Full length and i hope it does not take long to make it known. we see us doing more of this dark music in the future doing it with more violence and dark essence.
11.What are some of the bands or musical styles that have had an influence on your music and also what are you listening to nowadays?
Our influence is focused on bands like Bathory (mainly), horna, pest, watain etc. and nowadays we listen a lot of bands who they have a really great sound like kadotus, Qayin regis, ultra silvam, voodus Etc.

Just i hope this music continues with many violence , dark essence and devil worship And FUCK OFF!!!! all this fashion shit.
