Order Of The Iron Fist/Necroprofantor/Intolerant/Blood Artillery/Tetracommand Of Chaos/Extreme Chaos Records/Blood Rock Records/2021 4 Way Split Album Review

 

  This  is  a  review  of  a  4  way  split  album  between  Italy's  Order  Of  The  Iron  Fist,  Necroprofantor,  Intolerant  and  Blood  Artilley  called  "Tetracommand  of  Chaos"  which  will  be  released  in  November  as  a  joint  effort  between  Extreme  Chaos  and  Blood  Rock  Records  and  we  will  start  off  the  review  with  Order  Of  The  Iron  Fist a  band  that  plays  a  mixture  of  war,  black  and  death  metal.

  Their  side  of  the  split  starts  out  with  some  apocalyptic soundscapes  and  evil  chants  before  going  into  a  heavier  direction.  When  the  music  speeds  up a   great  amount  of  brutal  sounding  blast  beats  and  war  metal  elements  can  be  heard  while  the  vocals  are  in  between  angry  black  metal  screams  and  death  metal  growls  along  with  the  songs  also  adding  in  a  decent  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  and  they  also bring  in  a  cover  of  Black  Witchery's  "Command  Of  The  Iron  Baphomet"  which  also  adds  in  a  small  amoutn of  chaotic  gutiar  solos  and  leads.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw and  the  lyrics  cover  blasphemy  and  violence  themes.

  In  my  opinion  Order  Of  The  Iron Fist  are  a  very  great  sounding  mixture  of  war,  black  and  death  metal  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  those  musical  genres,  you  should  check  out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACK  "Abhorrent  Angel  Of  Fatal  Winds".

  Next  up  is  Necropfantor  a  band  that  plays  a  mixture  of  war,  black,  death  and  thrash  metal.

  Their  side  of  the  split  starts  out  with  A  very  dark,  heavy  and  brutal  sound  while  the  vocals  also  add  in a  mixture  of  black  metal  screams  and  death  metal  growls.  When  the  music  speeds  up  a  great  amount  of  blast  beats,  war  metal  elements  and  tremolo  picking  can  be  heard  which  also  gives  the  songs  more  of  a  raw  feeling  along  the  riffs  also  adding  in  some  touches  of thrash  metal  and  dark  sounding  melodies,  the  tracks  also  add  in  a  decent  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  and  the y also  bring  in  a  cover  of  Archgoat's  "Apotheosis  of  Lucifer".  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  and  the  lyrics  cover  Anti  Christianity  and  Profanation  themes.

  In  my  opinion  Necroprofantor  are  a  very  great  sounding  mixture  of  war,  black,  death  and  thrash  metal  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  those  musical  genres,  you  should  check  out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACK  "God  Vomits  Shit".

  Next  up  is  Intolerant  a  duo  that  has  been  featured  before  in  this  zine  and  plays  a mixture  of  war,  black,  death  metal  and  noise.

  Their  side  o  the  split  starts  out  with  some  harsh  noises  and  electronic  beats  which  also  mix  in  with  the  heavier  sections  of  the  songs.  The  vocals  are  also  a  mixture  of g rim  black  meta  screams  and  bestial  growls  while  the  faster  sections  of  the  tracks  also  add  in  a  decent  amount  of  tremolo  picking,  blast  beats  and  war  metal  elements  which  also  gives  the  music  more  of  a raw  feeling. 

 Melodies  are  also  added  into  some  of  the  guitar  riffing  and  the  songs  also  add  in  a  decent  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts,  when  guitar  solos  and  leads  are  utilized  they  are  also  done  in  a  very  chaotic  style.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  while the  lyrics  cover  nihilism  themes 

  In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  recording  from  Intolerant  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  war,  black,  death  metal  and  noise,  you  should  check  out  their  side  of t he  split.  RECOMMENDED  TRACK  "Altered  Human  Forms".

  Next  up  is  Blood  Artillery  a  solo  project  that  has  had  music  reviewed  before  in  this  zine  and  plays  a  bestial  mixture  of  war,  black,  death  metal  and  noise.

  His  side  of  the  split  starts  out  with  a  very  fast, raw  and  brutal  war  metal  sound  which  also  adds  in  a  great  amount  of  tremolo  picking  and  blast  beats.  All  of  the  musical  instruments  also  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them  while the  vocals  are  mostly  bestial growls  while  black  metal  screams  can  also  be  heard  at  times.  The  songs  also  add  in  a  decent  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  along  with  the  solos  and  leads  also  being  done  in  a  very  chaotic  style,  harsh  noises  are  also  added  into  some  parts  of  the  tracks.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  and  the  lyrics  cover  war,  destruction,  nuclear  disaster  and  hatred  themes.

  In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  recording  from  Blood  Artillery  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  war,  black,  death  metal  and  noise,  you  should  check  out  his  side  of  the  split.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Useless  And  Executed"  and  "Rebirth  through  Annihilation".  

  In  conclusion  I  feel  this  is  a  very  great  sounding  split  and  I  would  recommend  it  to  all  fans  of  war  metal  and  bestial  black/death  metal.  8  out  of  10.

Intolerant/Equinox/Purity/Covenwolves/Vanguard Productions/2014 Split Cassette Review

  This  is  a  review  of  a  split  cassette  between  U.S.A's  Intolerant  and  Equinox  which  was  released  by  Vanguard  Productions  in  2014  and  we  will  start  off  the  review  with  Intolerant  and  their  track  "Purify".

  Dark  and  evil  sounding  synths  start  off  their  side  of  the  split  before  going  into  a  very  fast  and  raw  old  school  black  metal  direction  along  with  some  very  deep  and  grim  sounding  vocals  that  have  a  growling  feeling  to them  and  their  song  also  has  blast  beats,  melody  and  and  epic/atmospheric  sound  to  it  along  with  lyrics  that  cover  hatred  and  sorrow  along  with  a  very  dark  and  raw  sounding  production.

  In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  track  from  Intolerant  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  old  school,  raw  and  atmospheric  black  metal,  you  should  check  out  their  side  of  the  split.

  Next  up  is  Equinox  and  their  track  "Covenwolves".

  Spoken  word  parts  which  also  return  later  in  the  song  start  off  their  song  before  going  into  a  very  fast  and  raw  direction  along  with  some  blast  beats  and  high  pitched  black  metal  screams  and  a  small  amount  of  growls  as  well  as  some  melodic  chanting  as  the  song  progresses  and  the  music  is  in  the  90's  direction  along  with  an  old  school  and  raw  production  as  well  as  lyrics  that  cover  the  darker  side  of  witchcraft  and  paganism.

  In  my  opinion  Equinox  are  a  very  great  sounding  raw  and  old  school  pagan/black  metal  band  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  their  song.

  In  conclusion  I  feel  this  is  a  very  great  sounding  split  and  I  would  recommend  it  to  all  fans  of  raw  and  old  school  black  metal.  8  out  of  10.

Intolerant/Snow Stained With The Blood Of Traitors/Vanguard Productions/2014 Cassette Compilation Review

  Intolerant  are  a  duo  from  the  United  States  that  has  been  featured  before  in  this  zine  and  plays  a  very  raw,  epic  and  old  school  form  of  black  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2014  cassette  compilation  "Snow  Stained  With  The  Blood  Of  Traitors"  which  was  released  by  Vanguard  Productions.

  Spoken  word  samples  start  off  the  cassette  along  with  the  sounds  of  war  before  going  into  a  very  raw  and  atmospheric  direction  along  with  a  small  amount  of  epic  keyboards  which  leads  up  to  some  deep  and  grim  sounding  black  metal  vocals  and  the  music  has  a  very  lo-fi  and  old  school  black  metal  feeling  to  it.

  A  great  amount  of  blast  beats  are  utilized  on  the  recording  along  with  a  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  and  using  keyboards  to  enhance  the  atmosphere and  war  elements  of  the  music  and  not  done  in  a  trendy  way  and  they  also  bring  back  spoken  word  samples  on  the  other  tracks  as  well  but  the  main  focus  as  on  the  rawest  black  metal  you  can  expect  form  this  band.

  You  can  hear  a  great  amount  of  90's  Polish  black  metal  elements  throughout  the  tracks  along  with  a  touch  of  the  early  Ukranian  bands  and  there  is  nothing  modern  or  trendy  about  the  songs  the  band  writes  and  they  stick  to  the  true  old  school  atmospheric  second  wave  black  metal  sound  of  the  early  European  bands a nd  on  the  last  track  a  small  amount  of  acoustic  guitars  are  added  into  the  music.

  Intolerant  create  a  very  raw  and  atmospheric  black  metal  with  the  songs  they  bring  to  the  compilation  and  also  has  a  great  amount  of  epic  qualities  that  bring  back  some of  the  best  elements  this  genre  had  to  offer  in  the  90's,  the  production  is  very,  dark,  raw  and  old  school  sounding  while  the  lyrics  cover  war,  hatred,  sorrow  and  struggle.    

  In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  recording  from  Intolerant  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  raw,  atmospheric  and  old  school  black  metal,  you  should  check  out  this  compilation/.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Resistance  to  Modern  Way"  "Banners  Of  Victory"  and  "Will  Of  iron".  8  out  of  10.

Astaroth/Intolerant/Horizon Productions/2013 Split EP Review

 This  is  a  review  of  a  split  album  between  New  Jersey's  Astaroth  and  U.S.A's  Intolerant  which  was  released  by  Horizon  Productions  and  we  will  start  off  the  review  with  Astaroth  a  band  that  plays  a  very  raw  and  primitive  form  of  Finnish  style  black  metal.

  Drums  range  from  slow  to  mid  paced  drumming  with  not  much  in  the  way  of  fast  playing  or  blast  beats,  while  the  bass  playing  has  a  very  dark  tone with  riffs  that  follow  the  riffing  that  are  coming  out  of  the  guitars.

  Rhythm  guitars  range  from  slow  to  mid  paced  black  metal  riffs  that  are  very  dark,  raw  and  primitive  sounding  with  a  great  amount  of  influence  from  the  Finnish  bands  along  with  some  depressive  elements  and  there  are  no  guitar  solos  or  leads  present  on  their  side  of  the  recording.

  Vocals  are  all  grim  sounding  black  metal s creams,  while  the  lyrics  cover  Demonology  and  Antichrist  themes,  as  for  the  production  it  has  a  very  dark,  raw  and  primitive  sound  with  the  last  song  being  long  and  epic  in  length.

  In  my  opinion Astaroth  are  a  very  great  sounding  mid  paced  raw  and primitive  sounding  black  metal  band  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  their side  of  the  recording.  RECOMMENDED  TRACK  "Astaroth".  RECOMMENDED

  Next  up  is  Intolerant  a  band  that  has  been  featured  before  in  this  zine with  a  musical  style  I  would  describe  as being  very  heavy,  raw  and  primitive  sounding  black  metal.

  Drums  range  from s low,  mid  paced  to  fast  drumming  with  a  great  amount  of  blast  beats  being  thrown  into  the  music,  while  the  bass  playing  has  a  very  dark  tone with  riffs  that  follow  the  riffing that  are  coming  out  of  the  guitars,  as  for  the  synths  they  bring  a  very  dark,  epic  and  atmospheric  sound  to  the  recording.

   Rhythm  guitars  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  black  metal  riffs  that  are  very heavy,  old  school  raw  and  primitive  sounding  in  the  true  90's  tradition  and  there  are  no  guitar  solos  or  leads  present  on this  recording.

  Vocals  are  all  deep  black  metal  growls  and  screams  with  some  high  pitched  elements  being  utilized  at  times,  while  the  lyrics  cover  dark  and  medieval  themes,  as  for  the  production  it  has  a  very  old  school  raw  and  primitive  sound.

  In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  recording from  Intolerant  and  if  you  are  a f an  of  old  school  raw  and  primitive  sounding  black  metal,  you  should  check  out  the  music  presented  on  this  split.  RECOMMENDED  TRACK  "Age  Of  Valor  Restored".  RECOMMENDED.

  In  conclusion  I  feel  this  is  a  very  great  sounding  split  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  atmospheric,  old  school,  raw  and primitive  sounding  black  metal,  you should  add  this  ep  to  your  collection.  RECOMMENDED  BUY.

  Intolerant  are  a  band  from  the  United  States  that  plays  a  very  raw  and  primitive  form  of  old  school  black  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2012  ep  "Blood  Will  Be  Avenged"  which  was  released  by  Horizon  Productions.

  Drums  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  drumming  with  some  blast  beats  being  thrown  into  the  music  at  times,  while  the  keyboards  are  only  used  on the  to  start  the  perfect  atmosphere  for  the  recording,  as  for  the  bass  playing  it  has  a  very  dark  tone  with  riffs  that  follow  the  riffing  that  are  coming  out  of  the  guitars.

  Rhythm  guitars  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  old  school  black  metal  riffs  that  are  very  raw  and  primitive  sounding  in  the  90's  tradition  and  there  are  no  guitar  solos  or  leads  present  on  this  recording.
