Endless Loss are a band from Australia that plays an ancient and esoteric mixture of war and bestial black/death metal and this is a review of their self released 2022 ep "Bloodletting Narcotic Divination".
Drum beats and distorted guitar noises start off the ep along with a brief use of tortured voices which also evolve into black metal screams and takes the music into a heavier direction. When the music speeds up a great amount of war metal elements, tremolo picking and blast b eats can b e heard which also gives the music more of a raw feeling.
Bestial growls are also a very huge part of t he recording while the solos and leads are also done in a very chaotic style. The songs also add in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with the riffs also adding in a small amount of evil sounding melodies at times and the whole recording also sticks to a heavier direction.
Endless Loss plays a music that takes war and bestial black/death metal and mixes them together to create a very heavy sounding recording. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover occultism, death and war themes.
In my opinion Endless Loss are a very great sounding mixture of war and bestial black/death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Cremation Cult" and "Psychogenic Cessation". 8 out of 10.
