Dark soundscapes start off the album before going into a heavier direction while the solos and leads are also done in a very melodic style. All of the musical instruments also have a very powerful sound to them along with the riffs also adding in a lot of melody and blast beats are added into the faster sections of the songs.
Throughout the album you can also hear a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while the tremolo picking in the faster riffing also gives the music more of a raw feeling. Vocals are done in more of an angry black metal style mixed in with some growls along with all of the musical instruments also having a very powerful sound to them.
Clean playing can also be heard briefly as well as some of the tracks also being long and epic in length as well as some synths and spoken words also being introduced on later songs. The production sounds very professional while the lyrics are written in Malta and is a concept album based upon occult and fantasy themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Saħħar and if you are a fan of modern black metal, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Gherf Minsi" "Il-Migna sa Sqallija" and "L-Imlejka". 8 out of 10.
