Electronic sounds start off the album before going into a heavier direction while most of the tracks are also long and epic in length. Clear singing can also be heard at times along with all of the musical instruments also having a very powerful sound to them and the music also gets very avant garde sounding throughout the recording.
Spoken words are also added on a few tracks while acoustic guitars are also added into certain sections of the album. Saxophones, harmonicas and clarinets are also utilized at times along with some of the harsher vocals adding in a touch of black metal and when the music speeds up a small amount of blast beats can also be heard. Some of the riffing also adds in some dissonant touches and most of the recording sticks to either a slow or mid tempo direction.
On this recording Trelldom continue moving away from t he black metal style of earlier releases and focuses more on an avant garde emtal style. The production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Trelldom and if you ae a fan of avant garde metal, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "When This Was Young" "By The Word" and "In There Outside". 8 out of 10.
