Deathcult/Cult Of The Dragon/Karisma Records/Dark Essence/2006 CD Review

Deathcult are a band from Norway that plays a style that I would describe as being Anti_Human black metal and this is a review of their 2006 album "Cult Of The Dragon" which was released as a joint effort between Karisma Records and Dark Essence.

Drums range from slow, midpaced to fast playing with alot of brutal sounding blast beats, while the bass playing has a very strong and powerful tone with alot of fast riffing.

Rhythm guitars range from slow, midpaced to fast fast raw Anti-Human Black metal riffs that are very heavy and brutal with some melodies and one song has a thrashy feel to it, while the lead guitars are very chaotic sounding black metal guitar solos.

Vocals are all high pitched black metal screams with some ocassional Satanic and Demonic whispers, while the lyrics cover Satanism, Luciferian, Enochian Magick, Anti Christianity, hatred for humanity and black metal, as for the production on this recording it sounds very strong and powerful with all of the musical instruments having a very brutal sound to them.

In my opinion Deathcult are a very good anti-human black metal band and if you are a fan of this style, you should check out this band. RECEMMONDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Anti Human Anti Life" "Sieg Heil Satan" and "Man Of Kutu". RECEMMONDED BUY.
