Wrahha are a band from Germany that plays a bestial mixture of war, black and death metal and this is a review of their 2024 demo "Harbingers Of A Horrid Cleansing" which will be released on September 20th as a joint effort between Sentient Ruin Laboratories and AbArt Corruption.
Death metal growls start off the demo before going into a very fast, raw and brutal war metal direction which also utilizes a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats. Black metal screams are also a very huge part of the recording along with the vocals also getting very bestial sounding at times.
When guitar solos and leads are utilized they are also done in a very chaotic style while the songs also add in a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with all of the tracks also sticking to a very heavy direction throughout the recording.
Wrahha plays a musical style that takes the brutal brutal sides of war, black and death metal and mixes them together to create a sound of their own. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover maintaining power through terror.
In my opinion Wrahha are a very great sounding mixture of war and bestial black/death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Totalitarian Crucifixion Rite". 8 out of 10.
