Haemoth/In Nomine Odium/Debember Morti Productions/2011 CD Review

Haemoth are a band from France that plays a very raw and primitive form of satanic black metal and this is a review of their 2012 album "In Nomine Odium" which will be released by Debember Morti Productions.

Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with a great amount of blast beats being thrown in, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars and at times they have a very powerful sound to them, as for the synths which are only utilized briefly they bring a very dark avant garde edge to the music with some noise effects being thrown in at times.

Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast black metal riffs that are very raw and primitive sounding with some clean playing being used on one song that is very avant garde sounding and there are little to no guitar solos or leads present on this recording.

Vocals are all high pitched black metal screams with a brief spoken word part, while the lyrics touch on dark, satanic and occult themes, as for the production it has a very heavy, raw and primitive sound to it.

In my opinion this is another great album from Haemoth and if you where a fan of their previous recordings, you will not be disappointed. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Demonik Omniscience" "Spiritual Pestilence" and "Son Of The Black Light". RECOMMENDED BUY.
