Blackosh are a duo from the Czech Republic that plays a very satanic and occult form of black metal and this is a review of their 2017 ep "Rvouchi Vichry" which will be released in May by Eternal Death.
Grim black metal screams along with some dark, heavy yet melodic guitar riffing starts off the ep and when the music speeds up a decent amount of tremolo picking and blast beats can be heard which also gives the songs a more raw feeling along with a great amount of 90's influences.
Throughout this recording you can hear a great mixture of both modern and old school black metal styles along with all of the musical instruments sounding very powerful and clean singing is also used briefly and the songs bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with a brief use of avant garde elements.
Blackosh plays a style of satanic black metal that is very traditional, raw and melodic while not being afraid to be different, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics are written in the bands native tongue and cover Satanism, Occultism and Evil themes.
In my opinion Blackosh are a very great sounding satanic occult black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Kult Latrin". 8 out of 10.
