1.For those that have never heard of you before, can you tell us a little bit about the band?
1. Sure, we are a black metal band with a lot of 90's influence, I would say we play very melodic and dark music.
2.So far you have released a demo, can you tell us a little bit more about the musical style that you went for on the recording?
2. When creating the demo material, we wanted to go towards beautiful and at the same time dark melodies, we played purely from our souls and what we like.
3.Some of the band members also have experience playing death, thrash, speed and heavy metal in previous bands, do you feel this gives your approach to black metal a more diverse style?
3. Our guitarist and vocalist played drums in Bömbardiër before, but we think that apart from stage experience, it didn't bring anything to our band.
4.Some of your lyrics cover occult and left hand path themes, can you tell us a little bit more about your interest in the dark arts?
4. Our lyrics are mainly based on Satanism, gnostic themes and life experiences of our vocalist, they are very important in our band to spread hatred and fear.
5.What are some of the other lyrical topics and subjects the band has explored so far with the music?
5. Anti-Christianity and more serious Satanism.
6.What is the meaning and inspiration behind the name 'Characith'?
6. Characith is the name of one of the demons inhabiting the 18th path of the Qliphoth, his disharmonic energies can lead to the dark paths of the subconscious (Sitra Ahra)/ the other side.
7.Can you tell us a little bit more about the artwork that is presented on the demo cover?
7. The artwork on our demo shows a sigil designed by our Vocalist signifying dark gods and the Anti-Cosmicism.
8.Has the band done any live shows or open to the idea?
8. We've already had our debut concert in our city. The next one will take place on January 9th, and a small tour is in the works for the coming months. Come see us or go fuck yourself.
9.Curremtly you are unsigned, are you looking for a label or have received any interest?
9. We are actively looking for a label, no offers yet but we got one prominent answer. We are serious about what we do and we expect the same from the distributor. Sadly we are having a bad time looking for adequate people we are either met with deathcore black metal mainstream wannabe or part-time underground distros with inactive websites.
10.On a worldwide level how has the reaction been to your music by fans of black metal?
10. Reception was great; overwhelmingly great. Either from friends and random people. It's quite cool seeing people you don't know posting your stuff on their socials. Yet we think it's not enough, not like it's ever enough. Since we got this mail we were acquainted with two proposals of promotions (with one being quite large) so far 80% of listeners are based in poland and rest in US of A. Currently we are working on our first batch of 50 CDs containing "Fairest She" Demo. These should be available to buy when we are live and on Bandcamp.
11.When can we expect a full length and also where do you see the band heading into musically during the future?
11. We expect the album to be released within a year. The band will continue to evolve until we're completely satisfied with the material we've released over the years. We'll decide when to finish.
12.What are some of the bands or musical styles that have had an influence on your music and also what are you listening to nowadays?
12. The bands that inspire us the most are the classics of our genre such as: Dissection, Sacramentum, Marduk, Emperor, apart from these we like to listen to old school death metal like Entombed and classic heavy metal like Black Sabbath or King Diamond.
13.Before we wrap up this interview, do you have any final words or thoughts?
