Omnia Malis Est/OME/Broken Bones Promotion & Productions/2025 Full Length Review

 

  Omnia  Malis  Est  is  a  solo  project  from  Italy  that  plays  a  very  instrumental,  atmospheric  and  ambient  form  of  black  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  his  2025  album  "OME"  which  was  released  by  Broken  Bones  Promotion  &  Productions.

  Nau=re  synths  and  ambient  style  synths  start  off  the  album  and  also  mixes  in  with  the  heavier  sections  of  the  track  at  times.  The  only  song  that  is  present  on  this  recording  is  also  almost  one  hour  in  length  while  all  of  the  music  sticks  to  an  instrumental  direction  and  is  also  divided  into  3  different  chapters.

  The  synths  also  add  in  a  variety  of  amount  sounding  keys  while  the  solos  and  leads  are  also  done  in  a  very  melodic  style.  Melodies  are  also  added  into  some  of  the  guitar  riffing  along  with  the  music  also  adding  in  an  atmosphere  suitable  for  meditation  and  the  whole  album  also  sticks  to  either  a  slow  or  mid  tempo  direction.

  Omnia  Malis  Est  plays  a  musical  style  that  takes  and  atmospheric  form  of  black  metal  and  mixes  it  with  ambient  to  create  a  sound  of  his  own  as  well  as  keeping  everything  instrumental  while  the  production  also  sounds  very  dark.

  In  my  opinion  Omnia  Malis  Est  is  a  very  great  sounding  instrumental  mixture  of  ambient  and  atmospheric  black  metal  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  those  musical  genres,  you  should  check  out  this  solo  project. 8  out  of  10.
