Death.Void.Terror/To The Great Monolith 2.5/Sentient Ruin Laboratories/2026 EP Review

  Switzerland's  Death.Void.Terror  have  returned  with  a  new  recording  which  shows  the  music  going  for  an  experimental  and  ritualistic  mixture  of  black,  doom  and  death  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2026  ep  "To  The  Great  Monolith  2.5"  which  will  be  released  in  August  by  Sentient  Ruin  Laboratories.

  A  very  distorted  sound  starts  off  the  ep  along  with  some  ritualistic  spoken  words  and  synths  a  few  seconds  later.  harsh  vocals  are  mostly  grim  sounding  black  emtal  screams  while  elements  of  doom  metal are  also  added  into  the  slower  sections  of  the  recording  and  all  of  the  musical  instruments  also  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them.

  Chants  and  clear  singing  can  also  be  heard  briefly  while  the  music  also  goes  into  a  ritualistic  direction  at  times.  Death  metal  growls  are  also  added  into  certain  sections  of  the  recording  along  with  most  of  the  tracks  also  being  very  long  and  epic  in  length,  blast  beats  can  also  be  heard  briefly  and  most  of  the  music  sticks  to  a  slower  direction.

  On  this  recording  Death.Void,Terror  focuses  more  on  a  ritualistic  and  experimental  style  of  blackened  doom  metal.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  while  the  lyrics  cover  Occultism,  Death  and  Rituals.

 In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  recording  from  Death.Void.Terror  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  experimental  and  ritualistic  black  and   doom  emtal,  you  should  check  out  this  ep.  RECOMMENDED  TRACK  "Third  Monolithic  Manifest".  8  out  of  10.
