Dark soundscapes and bells start off the album before going into a heavier direction while the faster sections of the songs also add in a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats which also gives the music more of a raw feeling along with the vocals also adding in a mixture of black metal screams and death metal growls.
Throughout the album you can also hear a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while dark sounding melodies are also added into some of the guitar riffing. A lot of the music is also very heavily influenced by the South American style along with some tracks also adding in a small amount of synths.
Some of the songs also add in a small amount of ritualistic touches as well as the solos and leads also adding in more of an old school approach when they are introduced along with one song also bringing in a brief use of clear singing, all of the musical instruments also have a very powerful sound to them. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Satanism, Occultism, Paganism, Darkness and Death themes.
In my opinion Ataud are a very great sounding satanic black metal b and with elements of death metal and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Under The Night Of Cold Saturn" "Satan's Vindication" "May Demons Fuck Your Rotten Corpse" and "Smell of Death". 8 out of 10.
