Rito Profanatorio Interview


1.Can you give us an update on what has been going on with the band since the recording of the new album?
RP:the band is currently writing new songs for a new production next year,after recording the second album basically we focus on the composition of new songs and in promoting our music in concerts for our country.

2.You have a new album coming out in July, how would you describe the musical sound that is presented on the recording and also how does it differ from the stuff you have released in the past?
RP.This album shows a little maturity in sound (most professional in style analogous to the recording) and compared with the first album but this album shows the consolidation of South American death metal that characterizes our bands throughout South America.

3.What are some of the lyrical topics and subjects the band explores with the newer music?
RP:The topics that were used for this album were death as the inspiration for the conjunction of lust and perversion, this together leads us to show all of the above as part of the rituals that are shown to us through the music and live performances

4.What is the meaning and inspiration behind the name 'Rito Profanatorio'?
RP:The meaning of the name is
make a difference in the minds of people who listen to us
desecrate the ears to make our music meets the purpose of the real worship, so that everyone can worship bands we idolize in the same way.

5.What are some of the  best shows that the band has played over the years and also how would you describe your stage performance?
RP :the best show so far was last year with DEATH YELL the concert was excellent and we had a lot of response from the sound and the people. We can also remember with great force a concert in Quito Ecuador in 2014 the event was totally insane and bloody
Band concerts are simply destructive very much crap on stage and very angry insult pure South American diabolical noise ....

6.Do you have any touring or show plans once the new album is released?

RP:for now we are waiting to present the new album officially in our country.
tour plans are always welcome but we will look to seal called to coordinate details of an upcoming tour

7.On the album you did a 'Hadez' cover, what was the decision behind doing your own version of one of their songs?

RP:Basically devotion we show to one of the first bands to peru true death metal.
HADEZ worship to since we started listening to these bands and the version is the demo on the altar of sacrifice .but translated into Spanish as a rare version that play live in the eighties

8.On a worldwide level how has the feedback been to your music by fans of black and death metal?

RP:with great response from the fans in South America and some parts of United States.
but above all greater CONNECTION it was achieved with the fans of Ecuador and Colombia after our little tour of these two countries last year.

9.What is going on with some of the other bands or musical projects these days that some of the bands members are a part of?

RP :current guitarist has basically two parallel projects in which he is working on new material
For my part and drummer we are only focused on RITO PROFANATORIO

10.Where do you see the band heading into musically during the future?
RP:Basically we concentrate on keeping the essence of the old school and recall the old influence.
in the future as long as in all our productions as varied the theme always telling new stories every time

11.What are some of the bands or musical styles that have had an influence on your music and also what are you listening to nowadays?
RP:The influences of music are shown in the following bands
SARCOFAGO, EXPULSER, DEATH YELL, HADEZ, SABBATH, NECROVORE

and today we have been hearing are bands

Skeletal, POSSESSION, DEMONIC RAGE (CHI) hastur (PER) profaner (PER) Nekromanteion (BOL)

12.Before we wrap up this interview, do you have any final words or thoughts?
