Foul Temple/An Empty Grave Awaits/Necroeucharist Productions/2021 Demo Review

 

  Foul  Temple  are  a  band  from  Australia  that  plays  an  unholy  form  of  black  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2021  demo  "An  Empty  Grave  Awaits"  which  was  released  by  Necroeucharist  Productions.

  A  very  fast  and  raw  sound  starts  off  the  demo  along  with  a  great  amount  of  tremolo  picking  and  blast  beats.  A  lot  of  the  music  is  also  very  heavily  rooted  in  the  90's  era  while  the  vocals  are  mostly  high  pitched  black  metal  screams  and  the  solos  and  leads  are  also  done  in  a  very  dark  yet  melodic  style.  

 Throughout  the  recording  you  can  also  hear  a  good  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  while  all  of  the  musical  instruments  also  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them.  Dark  sounding  melodies  can  also  be  heard  in  some  of  the  guitar  riffing  and  the  whole  demo  also  sticks  to  a  heavier  musical  direction.

  Foul  Temple  plays  a  style  of  black  metal  that  is  very  raw  and  old  school  in  the  90's  tradition.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  while  the  lyrics  cover  Satanism,  Luciferian,  occult,  Evil,  Chaos  and  Darkness  themes.

  In  my  opinion  Foul  Temple  are  a  very  great  sounding  unholy  black  metal b and  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  demo.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Chaos  Reigns"  and  "God  of  The  Heretics".  8  out  of  10.
