Siniestra are a band from Columbia that plays a very satanic form of black metal and this is a review of their self released 2016 album "La Immortalidad De Le Muerte".
Epic sounding synths start off the album before going into a very fast and raw musical direction that also uses a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats along with a great amount of high pitched black metal screams and the music is very heavily rooted in the 90's second wave style.
Clean playing can also be heard in certain sections of the recording along with the songs also bringing in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and when guitar solos and leads are utilized they are done in a very melodic fashion and the riffs also use a great amount of melody and movie samples are also used briefly and some of the tracks are very long and epic in length and you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on the recording and their is also a brief use of deep growls and spoken word parts.
Siniestra plays a style of satanic black metal that is very dark, raw and old school while also having its melodic moments, the production sounds very raw and heavy while the lyrics are written in Spanish and cover Satan, Darkness, Evil, Death and War themes.
In my opinion Siniestra are a very great sounding satanic black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Gloria Muerte" "Las Letanias De Satan" and "Augustia Eterna'. 8 out of 10.
