Death Invoker are a band from Peru that plays an old school mixture of black, death and thrash metal and this is a review of their live 2016 album "Necromantic Desecration" which was released by Sociedade dos Mortos.
A very satanic sounding intro starts off the album before going into a very fast and raw musical direction which also uses a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats while the music is influenced by both the first and second wave styles of black metal as well as bestial growls also being used at times.
A great amount of death and thrash metal influences can be heard in the bands musical style while the solos and leads also remain very true to an old school style along with all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them and they also bring in a couple of Sepultura covers and one Sarcofago cover as well as the vocals also adding in grim black metal screams at times and some tracks also bring in a small amount of dark sounding melodies.
Death Invoker plays a musical style that goes back to the 80's and early 90's era of black, d eath and thrash metal, the production sounds very raw along with all of the songs being recorded live while the lyrics cover Satanism, Necromancy, Metal and Death themes.
In my opinion Death Invoker are a very great sounding raw and old school mixture of black, death and thrash metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Satanic Force" "Spectres From Beyond" and "Prophecies Of Destruction". 8 out of 10.
