Morgart/Die Schlacht (In acht Sinfonien)/Black Tower Productions/2005 CD Review

Morgart are a band from Switzerland that plays a very epic form of atmospheric black metal and this is a review of their 2005 album "Die Schlacht (In acht Sinfonien)" which was released by Black Tower Productions.

Drum programming ranges from slow, mid paced to fast beats, while the synths have a very orchestra and atmospheric sound to them, as for the bass playing it has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars.

Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast black metal riffs that are melodic and epic sounding at times, while the lead guitars when they are utilized which is rare arw very melodic sounding guitar leads.

Vocals are mostly grim sounding black metal growls and screams, while the lyrics cover History and Battles, as for the production it has a very strong and powerful sound to it.

In my opinion Morgart are a very good epic and atmospheric sounding black metal band and if you are a fan of this style, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Sinfonie 2" "Sinfinie 5- In A -Dur" and "sinfonie 7". RECOMMENDED BUY.
