Eerie are a band from Poland that plays a very raw style of black metal and this is a review of their 2014 album "Into Everlasting Death" which was released by Arachnophobia Records.
Spoken word parts start off the album before going into a very fast, brutal and raw black metal direction along with a great amount of blast beats and high pitched screams which also get more grim and angry after a few seconds and you can also hear some dark sounding melodies in the guitar riffing along with a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts.
Deep death metal growls can be heard at times in certain sections of the recording while some parts also bring in a few seconds of clean singing on a few tracks and all 4 of the tracks are very long and epic in length and when guitar leads are utilized they add more of a melodic side to the bands musical style while one of the later tracks also adds in some atmospheric elements along with a small amount of clean playing while the main focus remains more on a raw and heavy style of black metal.
Eerie plays a style of black metal that is very heavy and raw while also very epic at a same time along with a touch of melody and a slight death metal influence, the production sound s very dark, raw and heavy while the lyrics cover death themes.
In my opinion Eerie are a very great sounding raw and nihilistic black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Mining Out Of Black Earth" and "Among The Ashes". 8 out of 10.
