Diapsiquir are a band from France that plays a very raw, experimental and industrial form of black metal and this is a review of their 2015 album "LSD" which was released by Necrocosm.
Distorted noises and spoken word parts which are also used quite a bit later on start off the album before going into a very fast and raw industrial black metal direction along with some hateful sounding screams and the also uses a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with melodies being added in certain sections of the recording which also has an atmospheric background.
A good portion of the tracks are very long and epic in length and there are also some parts where you can hear melodic guitar leads and machine style vocals,, avant garde singing as well as a brief use of operatic female vocals and the album also brings in a great amount of experimental elements and synths and as the album progresses the black metal screams start to get more high pitched while the music art times also brings in growls along with incorporating a slight death metal influence into their musical style.
Diapsiquir plays a style of black metal that is very fast, raw, chaotic yet melodic at the same time and also mixes in element s of industrial, experimental and avant garde music to create a very original sound, the production sounds very powerful while the lyrics cover Satanism, Lust, Urban Degeneracy and Deviance.
In my opinion Diapsiquir are a very great sounding raw and experimental, industrial black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Satan Postmortem" "Lubie Satanique Depraave" and "G.A.S". 8 out of 10.
