This is a review of another recording from Myrrdin which shows some of his early dungeon sytnth material with the demo being released in 2004 and called "Cold Air".
A very dark and atmospheric dungeon synth sound starts off the demo and you can also hear a lot of ambient and atmospheric elements in the music along with the first track being all instrumental and the first song is long and epic in length while the other songs range from 2 to 5 minutes long.
Synths are the only instrument that are present on the recording and they bring a very dark, raw and epic sound to each of the tracks while also bringing in a variety of many different keys with some being soft and the other ones having more of a power atmosphere.
Myrrdin created a very raw approach to dungeon synth on this recording and with his later work he started taking this style into a different genre and the production has a very dark, raw and lo-fi sound to it.
In my opinion this was another great sounding demo from Myrrdin and if you are a fan of dungeon synth, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Se Weald Angelcynn" and "Arianne". 8 out of 10.
