Womit Angel are a band from Finland that has been featured before in this zine and plays a raw mixture of satanic black metal, thrash and hardcore punk and this is a review of their 2015 ep "Magotmouth" which will be released in February by Inverse Records.
A very fast, raw and old school black metal sound starts off the ep along with a great amount of blast beats and high pitched screams and a few seconds elements of crust punk are added into the bands musical style along with a small amount of deep growls and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them.
You can hear a great amount of thrash metal elements in the musical sound on the recording along with a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and every song sticks to a very raw style of punk influenced and while the music has melody at times there is never a soft or weak moment present anywhere on the recording and one of the tracks also brings in a small amount of guitar leads.
Womit Angel creates another raw black/thrash metal recording along with keeping the punk elements and a touch of melody from their older material to create some true old school extreme metal, the production sounds very powerful while the lyrics cover satanic, gore and violent themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Womit Angel and if you are a fan of raw and punk influenced black/thrash metal, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Children Of Moon". 8 out of 10.
