Lamazuus are a band from Brazil that plays a very epic form of black metal and this is a review of their self released 2017 album "Reino de Desolacao" which consists of all of their 2016 singles.
Flutes start off the album before going into a very fast and raw musical direction which also uses a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats while the vocals are mostly grim black metal screams along with the solos and leads being done in a very melodic style and keyboards are also used at times.
Throughout the recording you can also hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while the riffs also add in a great amount of melody along with a couple of the tracks being very long and epic in length as well as all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them and at times the music also has its symphonic moments and as the album progresses an ambient style instrumental is added onto the recording.
Lamazuus plays a style of black metal that is very raw and epic sounding while also having its symphonic and ambient moments, the production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics are written in Portuguese and cover Magick, Philosophy, Fantasy, Tolkien and RPG themes.
In my opinion Lamazuus are a very great sounding epic black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Lagrimas Congelantes Cortantes ne Guerra Noturna" and "O UltimoOficio". 8 out of 10.

Lamazuus has a great work. This album (2017) was a work from kind of five years... Every music was elaborated minunciously and carefully. Im a fan.
