Finland's Womit Angel have returned with a new recording that continues their raw mixture of satanic black metal, punk and thrash and this is a review of their 2017 album "Impaling Force Of Satan" which will be released on March 18th by Ketzer Records.
A very fast and raw black metal sound starts off the album along with a great amount of blast beats and tremolo picking as well as some hateful screams and you can also hear elements of d beat and punk in the songs and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them and growls are also used at times.
Throughout the recording you can hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with the riffs adding in elements of death and thrash meta; and there is also a brief use of spoken word samples and some of the riffs also add in a decent amount of melody and one track also mixes in a small amount of aggressive punk style vocals and when guitar solos and leads are utilized they give the songs more of an old school metal/punk feeling and all of the tracks stick to a heavy musical direction.
Womit Angel creates another recording that remains true to the raw mixture of satanic black metal, punk and thrash from previous releases, the production sound s very powerful while the lyrics cover Satanism, Sexuality, and Sodomy themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording form Womit Angel and if you are a fan of raw satanic black metal with a touch of punk and thrash, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Armageddon Wolfpack" "Goat Hellfire" "Nun Raping Rock'N'Roll" and "Rat Mouth Saviour". 8 out of 10.
