Glorificated Genocide/Warwolves Arising/Dying Prayer Records/2019 Demo Review

 

  Glorificated  Genocide  where  a  solo  project  from  Ecuador  that  played  a  very  raw,  occult  and  vampyric  form  of  black  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  his  2019  demo  "Warwolves  Arising"  which  was  released  by  Death  Prayer  Records.

  A  synth  orientated  intro  starts  off  the  demo  before  going  into a   very  fast  and  raw  musical  direction  which  also  utilizes  a  great  amount  of  tremolo  picking  and  blast  beats.  All  of t he  musical  instruments  on  the  recording  also  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them  while  the  vocals  are  mostly  high  pitched  black  metal  screams.

  Most  of  the  music  is  also  very  heavily  rooted  in  the  mid  90's  era   while  melodies  can  also  be  heard  in t he  guitar  riffing  at  times.  Throughout  the  recording  you  can  also  hear  a  decent  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  along  with  one  track  also  bringing  in  the  brief  use  of  wolves  howling  and  the  music  also  captures  a  very  lo-fi  atmosphere,  war  samples  are  also  added  on  the  closing  track.

  Glorificated  Genocide  plays  a  style  of  occult  black  metal  that  is  very  raw  and  vampyric  sounding.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  while  the  lyrics  cover  Occultism,  Vampirism,  Lycanthropy,  War,  Darkness  and  Ancestral  themes.

  In  my  opinion  Glorificated  Genocide  are  a  very  great  sounding,  raw,  occult  and  vampyric  black  metal  solo  project  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  demo.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Proud  Of  The  Past"  and  "Honor,  Loyalty  And  War".  8  out  of  10.
