This is a review of another recording from Ecuador's Black Dracul which is also in the raw and blasphemous style of black metal and the demo was originally released in 2014 and called "Agamonth Xerbeth" which was re-issued in 2020 by Entocomophobic Records.
A very dark sounding intro starts off the demo along with a brief use of horror movie style keyboards and spoken word parts before going into a heavier direction. Vocals are mostly grim yet high pitched sounding black metal screams along with the music also capturing a very lo-fi atmosphere,
When the music speeds up a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats can be heard which also gives the songs more a raw feeling. The music also adds in a great amount of 90's influences along with the tracks also adding in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts, at times the vocals also get very deep sounding and the solos and leads also stick to an old school style.
On this recording Black Dracul played a style of black metal that is very raw and lo-fi sounding. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics are written in Spanish and cover blasphemy, anti Christianity and hatred themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Black Dracul and if you are a fan of raw black metal, you should check out this re-issue. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Blasfemia Hipocresía" and "Horda del Escuadrón 69". 8 out of 10.
