This is a review of a split album between Canada's Antichrist and Estonia's Goatsmegma which was released by Nuclear War Now! Productions and we will start off the review with Antichrist a band that plays a bestial mixture of war, black and death metal.
There side of the split starts out with a very fast, raw and brutal war metal direction which also uses a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats. Vocals are mostly blackened metal screams along with some bestial growls also being utilized at times and dark sounding melodies are also added in some of the guitar riffing.
Throughout their side of the recording you can also hear a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with the solos and leads being done in a very chaotic style. The songs also add in a decent amount of 90's influences as well as all of the musical instruments also having a very powerful sound to them. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover blasphemy, evil, war, Armageddon and satanism themes.
In my opinion Antichrist are a very great sounding bestial mixture of war, black and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Call For Armageddon" and "Nuclear Invocations".
Next up is Goatsmegma who return with their bestial mixture of war, black and death metal.
Their side of the split starts out with a apocalyptic sounding intro before going into a very fast, raw and brutal war metal direction which also uses a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats. Vocals also bring in a mixture of black metal screams and death metal growls along with the music also adding in a decent amount of 90's influences.

In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Goatsmegma and if you are a fan of war and bestial black/death metal, you should check out their side of the split. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Dismembered By Goat Militants" and "Endless Priest Mutilation".
In conclusion I fell this is a very great sounding split and I would recommend it to all fans of war and bestial black/death metal. 8 out of 10.
