Husets Natur/The Sky Light Shining On The Cold Earth/Entocomophobic Records/2020 EP Review

  Husets  Natur  are  a  solo  project  from  Indonesia  that  plays  a  very  atmospheric  form  of  ambient  black  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  his  2020  ep  "The  Sky  Light  On  The  Cold  Earth"  which  was  released  by  Enrocomophobic  Records.

  Classical  guitars  start  off  the  ep  along  with  some  ambient  sounding  keyboards  a  few  seconds  later.  On  the  second  track  the  music  goes  into  more  of  a  heavier  and  atmospheric  direction  while  also  introducing  programmed  blast  beats  onto  the  recording  and  the  vocals  are  mostly  grim  sounding  black  metal  screams. 

  Throughout  the  recording  you  can  also  hear  a  decent  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  along  with  all  of  the  musical  instruments  also  having  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them  and  the  songs  also  capture  a  very  lo-fi  atmosphere  as  well  as  one  track  also  introducing  acoustic  guitars  onto  the  recording.

  Husets  Natur  plays  a  musical  style  that  takes  ambient  and  mixes  it  with  atmospheric  black  metal  to  create  a  sound  of  his  own.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  while  the  lyrics  cover  darkness,  misanthropy  and  nature  themes.

  In  my  opinion  Husets  Natur  are  a  very  great  sounding  ambient  and  atmospheric  black  metal  solo  project  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  ep.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "The  Silence  Of  The  Forest"  and  "Fog  Mountains  And  Waterfall".  8  out of  10.
