Feeling Worthless/Jornadas de Automutilacion/Entocomophobic Records/2020 EP Review

  This  is  a  review  of  another  recording  from  Mexico's  Feeling  Worthless  which  is  also  in  the  depressive  style  of  black  metal  and  the  ep  was  released  in  2020  and  called  "Jornadas  de Automutilacion"  which  was  released  by  Entocomophobic  Records.

A  very  dark,  distorted  and  heavy  sound  starts  off  the  ep  while  the  vocals  are  mostly  depressive  black  metal  screams.  All  of  the  musical  instruments  also  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them  along  with  the  riffs  also  adding  in  a  small  amount  of  melody,  most  of  the  tracks  are  also  very  short  in  length  and  the  music  sticks  mostly  to  either  a  slow  or  mic  tempo  direction.

  On  this  recording  Feeling  Worthless  adds  in  a  little  bit  more  melody  and  mid  tempo  sections  than  the  previous  reviewed  single.  The  production  sounds  very  dark,  raw  and  lo-fi  while  the  lyrics  are  written  in  Spanish  and  cover  depressive  themes.

  In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  recording  from  Feeling  Worthless  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  depressive  black  metal,  you  should  check  out  this  ep.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  ''Losas  Verdes"  and  "Desciendo,  Corto  y  Muero".  8  out  of  10
