Zero/Sofrimentos Desconexos/Entocomophobic Records/2020 Demo Review

  Zero  are  a  solo  project  from  Brazil  that  plays  a  very  depressive  form  of  black  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  his  2020  demo  "Sofrimentos  Desconexos"  which  was  released  by  Entocomophobic  Records.

  Drum  beats  start  off  the  demo  along  with  some  out  of  tune  clean  playing  a  few  seconds  later  while  all  of  the  musical  instruments  also  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them.  After  awhile  the  music  also  goes  into  a  heavier  direction  along  with  the  riffs  also  adding  in  a  small  amount  of  melody,  spoken  word  parts  and  depressive  black  metal  screams  can  also  be  heard  at  times,  all  of  the  music  sticks  to  a  slower  direction  and  acoustic  guitars  can  also  be  heard  on  the  closing  track.

   Zero  plays  a  style  of  depressive  black  metal  that  is  very  slow  and  diverse  sounding.  The  production  sounds  very  dark,  raw  and  lo-fi  while  the  lyrics  are  written  in  Portuguese  and  cover  depressive  themes.

  in  my opinion  Zero  are  a  very  great  sounding  depressive  black  metal  solo  project  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  demo.  RECCOMENDED  TRACK  ''Emocionalmente  Deformado". 8 out  of  10.
