Jose Rodriquez is a solo artist from Argentina that plays a very experimental and depressive form of black metal and this is a review of his 2020 single "Lagrimas de Sangre" which was released by Entocomophobic Records.
Spoken word parts start off the track which is also over 17 minutes in length while tragic sounding keyboards can also be heard at times. Clean playing and depressive black metal screams can also be heard at times along with the song also having its experimental and avant garde moments, as the single progresses heavy riffs are also added into the music and towards the end a brief use of fast tremolo picking and blast beats can be heard which also gives the recording more of a raw feeling.
Jose Rodriquez plays a style of depressive black metal that is very experimental, avant garde and melancholic sounding. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics are written in Spanish and cover depressive themes.
In my opinion Jose Rodriquez is a very great sounding experimental and depressive black metal solo project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this single. 8 out of 10.
