Wrath Division Interview

 

1.For those that have never heard of you before, can you tell us a little bit about the band?


Wrath Division: The band started in 2020. Imagine rumbling drums and barbaric sounds of bass crush the bones to dust, barbed wire guitars mercilessly pierce through the body and the triumphant shriek announce that Wrath Division is here.




2.You have a new album coming out this month, can you tell us a little bit more about the musical style that you went for on the recording?


Wrath Division: It has to be as brutal as possible.




3.According the the facebook page you refer to your music as being 'chaos metal', can you tell us a little bit more about this term?


Wrath Division: This term describes our sound perfectly.




4.What are some of the lyrical topics and subjects the band has explored so far with the music?


Wrath Division: Wrath, war, abyss.




5.What is the meaning and inspiration behind the name 'Wrath Division'?


Wrath Division: We are a division fueled by wrath and chaos.




6.Can you tell us a little bit more about the artwork that is presented on the album cover?


Wrath Division: Nothing except that it was created by MPN-82.




7.After the pandemic gets more under control are there any plans for any live shows?


Wrath Division: It's possible.




8.The new album is going to be released on 'Godz Of War Productions', how did you get in contact with this label?


Wrath Division: The vinyl will be released on Godz of War Productions and CD will be released on Left Hand Sounds. We contacted both labels and showed them our music.




9.On a worldwide level how has the reaction been to your music by fans of war metal?


Wrath Division: So far it was good.




10.Where do you see the band heading into musically during the future?


Wrath Division: even deeper into chaos.




11.What are some of the bands or musical styles that have had an influence on your music and also what are you listening to nowadays?


Wrath Division: Revenge, Archgoat, Beherit, Blasphemy, Wyrre, Black Witchery.




12.Does Occultism play any role in your music?


Wrath Division: Yes and no.




13.Before we wrap up this interview, do you have any final words or thoughts?


Wrath Division: Only the ashes covered by smoke and the bodies of the fallen remain.
