Wrath Division are a band from Poland that plays a bestial mixture of war, black and death metal and this is a review of their 2021 album "Barbed Wire Veins" which will be released on August 21st by Godz Of War Productions.
A very dark and apocalyptic sounding intro starts off the album before going into a very fast, raw and brutal war metal direction which also uses a great amount of blast beats and tremolo picking. When guitar solos and leads are utilized they are also done in a very chaotic style and the vocals are a mixture of bestial growls and black metal screams.
All of the musical instruments on the recording also have a very powerful sound to them while the songs also add in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts. The music also adds in a great amount of old school influences along with all of the riffing being done on power chords and avoiding t he use of any melodies.
Wrath Division plays a musical style that takes war, black and death metal and mixes them together to create a sound of their own. The production sounds very dark and raw w hile t he lyrics cover occultism, death, darkness and war themes.
In my opinion Wrath Division are a very great sounding bestial mixture of war, black and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Barbed Wire Veins" "Batara Kala War Ministry" and "Mediumic Reconnaissance Before The Next Strike". 8 out of 10.
