Drum beats, fast and raw black metal riffs and high pitched screams start off the album along with a great amount of blast beats and death metal growls and the guitars also mix in influences from the same genre and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with some morbid sounding melodies.
All of the musical instruments on the recording have a very powerful sound to them and when guitar solos and leads are utilized they are very dark and melodic sounding and a few of the tracks a re long and epic in length and some of the slower riffs have a touch of doom metal to them at times and as the album progresses a brief use of spoken word parts are added onto the recording and a lot of the riffing brings back the Florida 90's death metal style but mixed in with more of a blackened direction and the last track brings in a few seconds of clean playing and is also all instrumental.
Unholy Triumphant plays a musical style that takes a mid 90's influenced style of Swedish black metal and mixes it with death metal creating a style I would describe as Dark Funeral being mixed with Morbid Angel along with a touch of Dissection, the production sounds very powerful while the lyrics cover Satanism, philosophical and blasphemous themes.
In my opinion Unholy Triumphant are a very great sounding mixture of black and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Leviathan" "Flesh Of Christ" and "Casket Is My Home". 8 out of 10.
