Moor are a band from Bulgaria that plays a very satanic from of occult black metal and this is a review of their 2018 demo "Impending Death" which was released by Acclaim Records.
Clean playing starts off the demo before going into more of a heavier and melodic musical direction. When tremolo picking is utilized it gives the music more of a raw feeling along with the vocals being mostly grim black metal screams as well as also getting very deep sounding at times.
During the faster sections of the songs a decent amount of blast beats can be heard while the songs also add in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts. At times the music also captures a very lo-fi atmosphere and the music also adds in a decent mixture of both old school and modern influences and most of the tracks also sound very different from each other.
Moor plays a style of satanic occult black metal that is very professional. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Anti Cosmic Satanism, Occultism and Chaos themes.
In my opinion Moor are a very great sounding satanic occult black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this demo. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Impending Death" and "Bestia Sine Nomine". 8 out of 10.
