Israel's Har have returned with a new recording which continues their bestial mixture of war, black and death metal and this is a review of their self released 2019 ep "Anti-Shechinah".
A very distorted sound starts off the demo along with the vocals bringing in a good amount of high pitched screams. When guitar solos and leads are utilized they are done in a very dark and chaotic style while the riffing also adds in elements of death metal as well as some blast beats being used during the faster sections of the songs.
A great amount of war metal influences can also be heard along with some bestial growls also being utilized at times. Throughout the recording you can also h ear a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while the music also is heavily rooted in the 90's at times as well as keeping a modern atmosphere, dark sounding melodies can also be hear d in some of the riffing.
On this recording Har remains true to t he bestial mixture of war, black and death metal from previous releases. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover the reverse side of the Qabalah, Necromancy, Darkness and Black Magick themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Har and if you are a fan of war, black and death metal, you should check out t his demo. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Bor". 8 out of 10.
