This is the final review of a recording from Wardaemonic which continues their ancient and streamlined approach to black metal with the ep being self released in 2013 and called "Proclamation".
"Cursed In a Thousand Tongues" begins with some sound effects before bringing in some death metal guitar riffs, powerful bass, guitars, blast beats and deep growls which also high pitched screams before taking the song into a more blackened death metal direction and then the song starts switching back and forth between slow, mid paced and fast parts and towards the end you can hear a brief use of melodic riffing.
"Towards The Blessed Relic" begins with some drums and heavy guitar riffs which leads to some bass guitars, high pitched black metal screams and the song taking a faster approach as well as switching back and forth between mid paced and fast parts and after awhile there are some slower sections that seem to be death metal influenced as well as some melodic riffing getting introduced a minute later and the song closes with some evil sounding synths.
"The Light Reviled" begins with some fast and heavy black metal guitar and bass riffs as well as some drums which lead to some grim screams and after awhile the song starts utilizing some melody and deeper vocals as well as switching back and forth between mid paced and fast parts as well as adding blast beats in certain parts of the song and the ep closes with some dark sound effects.
Song lyrics cover darkness, while the production has a very heavy, raw and primitive sound while you can hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this recording along with the songs being long and epic in length.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Wardaemonic and if you are a fan of black metal with some death metal elements, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Towards The Blessed Relic". RECOMMENDED BUY.
