Squaguarahchristis are a band from an unknown location that has been featured before in this zine with a musical style on this recording being a very hateful and anti human form of black metal and this is a review of their self released 2013 ep "Anti Human Black Metal.
"Drako IVX" begins with some raw and primitive black metal guitar riffs which also lead to some aggressive drums making their way into the music and a minute later grim black metal screams start coming in and a couple of minutes later the music gets a lot faster and blast beats become a part of the song for a short period before the song goes back into a mid paced direction.
"Anti Human Black Metal" begins with some stomping sounds before going into some fast, raw and primitive guitar riffs along with some blast beats which also lead to the screaming vocals making their way into the song and after a couple of minutes the song goes more into a mid paced direction before switching back and forth between mid paced and fast parts.
"Freezing Moon" which is a Mayhem cover begins with thunder sounds before the guitar riff, drums and grim s creams start kicking in and after awhile the music gets a lot more fast along with some blast beats and as the song moves on it starts going into some slow and dark guitar riffing along with a brief guitar solo and lead a minute later before closing with some fast guitar riffs.
Song lyrics cover darkness, anti human, and black metal themes, while the production has a very dark, raw and primitive sound with the bass guitars being mixed down low in the mix.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Sguaguarahcristis and if you are a fan of raw and primitive anti human black metal, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Anti Human Black Metal". RECOMMENDED BUY.
