The Nightly Disease are a solo project from Italy that plays an atmospheric form ov black metal and this is a review of his 2021 album "Delicate White Sound" which will be released on June 18th by Naturmacht Productions.
Dark soundscapes start off the album along with some voices and synths a few seconds later before going into a heavier direction. All of the musical instruments also have a very powerful sound to them while atmospheric elements are also mixed in with the heavier sections of the songs and all of the drum beats are also programmed.
Elements of ambient can also be heard heard quite a bit throughout the recording while melodies are also added into some of the guitar riffing. When guitar solos and leads are utilized they are also done in a very melodic style along with some spoken word parts also being added on one of the songs.
Half of the tracks are very long and epic in length as well as being divided into 4 different chapters along with one song also adding in a brief use of acoustic guitars. All of the music sticks to a slower direction and is mostly instrumental while the production sounds very professional sounding.
In my opinion The Nightly Disease are a very great sounding instrumental and atmospheric black metal solo project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Part 1" and "Part 3". 8 out of 10.
