Armnatt Interview

1.Can you give us an update on what has been going on with the band since the recording of the new album?
Since we recorded the second album we have been working on the third.


2.You have a new album coming out in May, musically how does it differ from the stuff you have released in the past?
It is the sequence of Darkness Times.

3.Most of the music is also very heavily rooted in the 90's era, do you feel black metal was more true to its roots back in that era and do you also feel modern black metal has abandoned what black metal is really supposed to stand for?
Some things better not change.

4.This is also your first release in 6 years, can you tell us a little bit more about what has been going on during that time frame?
ARMNATT never stoped beeing active, Dense Fog took the time needed.

5.What are some of the lyrical topics and subjects the band explores with the new album and also how would you describe your progress as songwriters over the years?
The tracklist says it all.

6.What is the meaning and inspiration behind the name 'ARMNATT'?
There are to much inspirations  to mention.

7.Can you tell us a little bit more about the artwork that is presented on the new album cover?
It refects the Dense fog themes.

8.What are some of the best shows that the band has played over the years and also how would you describe your stage performance?
Extreme Metal Attack was excellent.

9.You are also scheduled to play the 'Invicta Requiem Mass' in December, can you tell us a little bit more about this festival?
It is an honour to be invited to Invicta Requiem Mass!

10.On a worldwide level how has the reaction been to your music by fans of black metal?
For the brothers in arms that support ARMNATT we Hail!

11.Where do you see the band heading into musically during the future?
We are going to do the same as we please.

12.What are some of the bands or musical styles that have had an influence on your music and also what are you listening to nowadays?
There are to much influences to mention.

13.Does Satanism or Occultism play any role in your music?
The music speaks for itself.
